Spinal Surgery Department of Xuzhou Renci Hospital has 60 beds available and has strong professional strength. The department has taken the lead in introducing "anterior and posterior spinal fixation technology" and "intervertebral foramen mirror technology" and sent doctors to some key hospitals in Beijing and Suzhou for further studies. Meanwhile, the department has accumulated rich clinical experience in various spine diseases such as cervical and lumbar diseases, spinal canal stenosis, intervertebral disc herniation, intervertebral disc-derived pain, scoliosis, spinal fracture, kyphosis of ankylosing spondylitis, spinal tumor and so on.

In September 2017, the HJY-YESS Hong Jianyu-Young's Spinal Minimally Invasive Center of Xuzhou Renci Hospital was inaugurated. The Center introduced the international advanced SED technology, namely selective endoscopic discectomy. It was founded by Professor Anthony Young, the originator of spinal endoscopy, with clinical experience of more than 10,000 operations in 25 years. The clinical effect has been widely recognized by the domestic and foreign industries so that it marks that the spinal minimally invasive technology adopted by Xuzhou Renci Hospital is officially in line with the international advanced level.
