Arthrology Surgery Department of Xuzhou Renci Hospital now has 60 beds available, and routinely treats a series of diseases such as limb joint deformity, osteoarthritis, femoral head necrosis, hip dysplasia, etc.

In December 2017, Renci Hospital jointly made cooperation with Germany's Bé ran Group to establish the first "Precision Medical Computer Aided Navigation Joint Replacement Center" in Huaihai Economic Zone to carry out joint replacement surgery under computer navigation in an all-round way, filling the gap in the clinical application of arthrology under computer navigation technology in Huaihai Economic Zone.

In April 2018, Renci Hospital was technically supported by Professor Huang Ye's Knee Protection Team of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, to carry out an individualized and precise ladder treatment scheme for knee osteoarthritis, including drug injection into knee joint cavity, arthroscopic debridement of knee joint, minimally invasive high tibial osteotomy, minimally invasive unicondylar replacement and guided total knee replacement, etc. It was symbolized that the first knee protection treatment center was established in Jiangsu Province.

The department has carries out a series of surgeries, including arthroscopic removal of free body of knee joint, meniscus shaping repair, repair and reconstruction of cruciate ligament injury of knee joint, arthroscopic reduction and internal fixation of intra-articular fracture, arthroscopic repair of rotator cuff injury, etc.

Besides, the department has also carried out stepped treatment of femoral head necrosis, including early hip preservation treatment such as core decompression, vascularized fibular flap transplantation, and superpath minimally invasive total hip arthroplasty. As for or hip dysplasia, the department has applied hip preservation techniques such as acetabular rotational osteotomy and so on.

In addition, minimally invasive corrective surgery for limb bone and joint deformities is also involved in the treatment scope of the department.
